Hello everyone! My name is Whitney, and I am the founder of Mati Moments. I was introduced to Greece at a young age when my mom married a Greek man and we went to visit his village in Serres. The beauty and warmth of the country and its people captured my heart, and I have been in love with Greece ever since.

I launched Mati Moments to share my personal experiences and insights into Greece, and to inspire families to travel and see the world. Growing up in Greece and now raising my own daughter there, I have a unique perspective and understanding of the culture and customs of the country. My outgoing and extroverted personality allows me to connect with people and truly get to know a place, which I believe sets me apart as a travel blogger and writer.

One of my passions is showing families that even with young children, travel is possible and can be a great adventure. Through Mati Moments, I hope to create a trusted resource for families traveling to Greece, and to expand into other Mediterranean countries as well.
